Eotrac Announces Official Incorporation

We are excited to announce the incorporation of Eotrac, a company dedicated to bringing a proven methane sensing technology to the upstream oil and gas industry. Our technology has been developed over the course of a decade at the St. Francis Xavier University Flux Lab, and has been used to quantify oil and gas methane emissions across Canada. More recently, it has been deployed in several multi-year Alberta Alternative Fugitive Emission Management Programs (Alt-FEMPs). This extensive track record underscores the reliability and precision of our system.

By commercializing this well-established technology, Eotrac is poised to provide the oil and gas industry with accurate, efficient, and cost-effective solutions for methane detection and quantification. Our approach leverages highly sensitive sensors mounted on any site-visiting vehicle to deliver actionable data with minimal additional logistical costs. This enables operators to address methane emissions proactively, meeting environmental standards and operational goals with confidence.

The incorporation of Eotrac represents a pivotal moment in our journey to make this proven technology accessible to a broader market. In addition to its established capabilities, we are enhancing the system with many exciting new features. These advancements position Eotrac as a leader in methane management, setting new standards for environmental accountability and operational efficiency.

We extend our gratitude to everyone who has supported us in reaching this milestone. Together, we are driving innovation and sustainability in the oil and gas sector.
